How the MoneyTrail App Works

How can using MoneyTrail on your mobile device help you? Let’s look at a shopping trip with a typical Mom and her eleven year old daughter, Linda. Linda sees a sweater that she really wants and asks her Mom to buy it for her. Her Mom says no. Linda reminds her Mom that she owes her for several weeks of allowance and says that she wants to use her allowance money to buy the sweater. This is the point at which MoneyTrail becomes extremely useful. Instead of spending 10 minutes trying to figure out exactly how much allowance is owed, Linda’s mom simply pulls out her cell phone. She clicks a few times and is quickly into their MoneyTrail account.

She immediately sees that Linda does indeed have enough allowance built up to purchase the sweater. Linda’s mom makes the purchase and then enters the transaction into their MoneyTrail account.

Linda’s account balance is now updated with these adjustments. Her balances will show the new amounts and Linda was able to use the allowance that her parents owed her.

By using MoneyTrail's mobile feature, this entire scenario was able to happen quickly and easily in the store and the details were recorded easily so that Linda and her mom wouldn't forget the transaction.
